You know, now that I think about it, Jam would seem like a chipmunk…but that wouldn’t explain why Jay looks like a skunk…Are they adopted? Or is there some sort of weird “Universal Species” that has developed through cross-species breeding over the generations? Or am I putting too much thought into this?
