I suspect cream grew up either rich, or in the country, more likely the former. Either way would explain the fact that she’s never had muffins “from box mix” (implying she’s had them made from scratch), and also the fact that she’s suggesting squab and quail eggs for breakfast. You either buy them (expensive), or get them yourself (country). That, or her parents were chefs or something.
Grimm, I live in the country and I can assure you, we do not just go and pick up quails eggs whenever we feel like it :) Quails are notoriously difficult birds to look after, hence their hefty price tag. Taste gorgeous though :) Don’t know about the muffins, I’ve never had box mix either.
I used to go looking for quail as a kid with my father on hunting trips and could never bring myself to shoot one. They’re pretty much adorable round critters. I will admit I’ve eaten one before… but not one that I killed myself. @_@;

I’m getting to cheat a little since I’ve been drawing the Peaches & Cream girls for awhile now, but it was still a big challenge to keep them looking nice panel to panel in an ongoing comic. So thanks very much!

I definitely understand as well. I’m pretty much on Jam’s side as well. I love snow and think its neat and love the holidays… but I’d rather be in the sun or on the beach! < X D
The origin of these characters was as porn story characters. This is the clean comic about their lives. Always wanted to do more with them than porn, so I am!
…That reminds me so much of my childhood. I would do that during the winters where I love, especially during the winter that made me fear that Fimbulvetr had come to signal Ragnarok.
Unfortunately, our vents are right up against the wall, and I’ve grown into some kind of hill giant.
When it’s cold, I don’t fit on the vents. The dogs get to sit there, though.
