Is Luvpeaches coming back? Yes.

Is it going to be tomorrow? No.

Why not? I want it now! Cause I’m moving from California to Pennsylvania next month. Which as you can imagine is a pretty damn big move. Following that will be AnthroCon.

I have no intention of trying to start the comic back up during that time since it’ll pretty much be guaranteed to start falling behind again with unpacking of boxes and convention stuffs.

What does this mean about its return date? It means that its still gonna be a bit and I ask you to be patient. I’d rather wait and do a proper launch than have things fall apart.

If things go smoothly I’m hoping to have some pretty cool stuff in store for around July.

So finally dusting off the cobwebs and getting things rolling again!

Been a long while, but with the help of an assistant and a load of organizing, looks like I’ll be able to get this place shipshape soon!

Right now the plan is to get the entire Rainy Days in Sunny Side chapter finished and then posts will resume on Fridays weekly.

Hey all! It certainly has been a long summer so far, or at least it feels that way. =_= I believe this is the third of Mirelmture’s guest comics, to complete her epic trilogy of dinosaurian cuteness. Her website is www.acornsugar.com and her art is fluff and awesome. :3

Miu did successfully make it to Comic-Con and hopefully if all goes well AC will be a definite next year (on top of that, an expanded con circuit may be coming!), so keeping fingers crossed. Lots of improvement over the last few months so wow, “back to normal” is within sight! Like a desert oasis on the horizon, it better be the real thing and not be a mirage or I will kick its nonexistent ass.

Anyhoo! So I’d partially been unable to get TO the file to update the site with this guest comic, but partly this also works out well since I wanted to announce the restock of the FINAL copies of the “Summer Time Peaches” figure in the online store! Yes, a very small handful of them have made it back home from Anthrocon and Comic-Con, and I wanted to thank each and every one of you folks out there who picked up one for yourselves…I’m always thrilled when a sculpture of mine goes over well, like sending off little resin babies out into the big scary world. :D Miu is already hard at work creating the art for a new project, and while making a run of figures is always kind of a risk (so much money up front! so many sculpting labor hours!) I think folks will like the next one. :)

So, as of this writing, we’re putting six copies up in the online store, click [HERE] to buy one before they’re all gone! We’re retaining a couple for the archives, but outside of that these are literally the last copies that will be available anywhere…

…What? I said we only had a handful left! Go! <XD

Just wanted to give folks a short heads-up, there are only very limited quantities of the Peaches and Cream t-shirt left (Unisex L, XL, and 2XL), and there are currently only two Peaches figures left in stock for the online store.

The final cartons of figures have been sent ahead and will be available for sale at Anthrocon in Pittsburgh (June 23-26) and Comic-Con in San Diego (July 21-24). If there are any left after those conventions they will be added to the inventory online for sale as well, but if the figures sell out completely we have no estimate for when, if ever, more would be produced.

Debating on also discontinuing the current t-shirt design, so if you haven’t gotten yours, grab it now.

The online store will be closing June 20 and reopening August 1. You will still be able to buy the digital download during this time if you haven’t already. :)

Hey all! PG again. Back with another guest comic to follow up, here’s Mirelmture again with a Part 2! Again her website is www.acornsugar.com and you’ll want to check that out. I say so.

Just got home yesterday from taking Miu to an out-of-town specialist and things are looking up. There’s a long road ahead, though, so thanks again for continuing to support him in your thoughts. :) Despite everything he’s determined to make something of this summer so I’m crossing my fingers that we’ll have some new news to share soon.

Also, while Miu will not be attending Anthrocon this summer, I’ll still be operating the Peaches and Cream booth alongside my own, so if you’re coming to AC come check out the figures and the various P&C-related fun stuff. :) (And bear with me, trying to operate two tables at once is not easy! =_=) We’re still planning on trying to get him to Comic-Con, though, so anyone who’s lucky enough to be attending that con may get to see him. He misses getting art out there for everyone!

Miu’s computer is back and functioning now, even if he himself isn’t (doing better, though! Up and around more than a few hours a day). For the foreseeable future, we’re still not sure when he’ll be back around to get the comic up and running, but at least things are looking (very slooooowly) up. Also, a thank you to everyone who suggested MalwareBytes and all, but he HAD that on his comp and it didn’t exactly catch this one. There’s a running joke in his family that he inherited the “destroy electronics” gene, as he, his mother, and his maternal grandfather all had a problem with keeping wristwatches and close-contact technology functioning…never abusive users, but somehow they’d just conk out and that’d be it.

Thanks so much for the well-wishes and support! Miu misses doing his artwork and I can’t tell you all how often I have to listen to him complain about that, haha. Hoping that we have some new leads on that here in a couple weeks.

Hello everyone! PG here again and sorry for the lack of updates. Truth be told, there really hasn’t been much in the way of news (unless you’re a fan of nitty-gritty medical details, mostly the results here are bupkis).

Long story short, Miu was not doing too well and ended up in the hospital again while I was gone to Sakura-Con…a bit of an iffy time there, since the reason we’d originally signed up for a second year was to promote the webcomic…since he wasn’t able to attend and the webcomic is obviously still on hold for now, well, it became a mixed booth of CS books, used books, and the few P&C-related things we had on hand. As an aside, a big thank you to the folks who stopped by the booth to send well-wishes or buy things! It’s all going back into his medical care at this point, bleh. Hoping to go back again for a third year. Next time, I hope he can make it too. >_< He is doing better and is home now, but currently only upright and conscious for about…maybe 6 hours a day.

In a strange and annoying congruence of events, his computer is slowly giving up the ghost due to some kind of virus/trojan. He suspects it got picked up on dA (check your scanners! make sure they’re protecting your computers!) and it’s basically now rendered his computer immobile (complete with actual hardware problems) and will have to be completely redone. Great timing! >_< Considering how much art and huge files he has on his computer, merely backing everything up has been an annoying stretch…although it is helping us get reorganized, something that had gotten put off since he’d gotten the more serious bouts of his health problems.

So, here I am, and here’s a scribbly guest comic by me for you while I try desperately to get caught up with shipping the backlog of orders from his store, the Club Stripes store, and my own…sadly this is a true story as recounted to me by Miu, and yeah…that’s some skillful puking there, I guess. <XD No worse torment for a foodie than to be holed up in a hospital that decides boiling vegetables into mush (with no salt) is a great way to keep patients’ spirits up, ha ha. The only reason the squash didn’t come up too was because, well, he didn’t eat it. ;p

Hello everyone, Miu’s other half here (PG). Just a short note to let everyone know that Miu is not having a good week and the comic will return when he is able.

For those of you who don’t already know, Miu has been going through a lot of health problems since late 2009. They have not completely gone away and every now and again we have to go through a particularly bad bout, rendering him incapable of producing art. In other words, when things are good, they’re good…when they’re bad, they’re rotten. :/ The comic was started with a backlog of many pages to accommodate anticipated down times, but we’ve finally caught up and now there aren’t any more completed pages ready to go.

I want to personally thank everyone who has made a donation, or a purchase from the store, since this is how Miu has been supporting himself when he can’t do the labor-intensive work of fully-painted pieces. The webcomic format allows him to freely share the stories that he’s been working on for these characters that we love. :)

Let’s all hope Miu can be back to producing art again soon. Thanks for tuning in!

I decided to make Peaches Mom a little younger looking this time out and gave her a sort of pixy haircut. And orange hair! So she’s been through a lot of changes. I like this version of her much better. Now instead of feeling almost grandmotherly like the original version she more reminds me of some of my friends that have kids now in their 20’s & early 30’s.

Also, first main comic appearance by the ants. Peaches looks like she was quite worthwhile for the ants to follow around. So many delicious food leavings~ mmmm.

So that’s it for the week folks! Time for me to get my butt back to work and maybe play some more Pokemon when I can. (Got myself an Audino and love the design of the Klink and Joltik!)

Hi everyone! Welp, this week we have the intro/cover image for Rainy Days in Sunny Side, the first part of the main story for this web comic. Rainy Days will be a step back in time and will show where a lot of their relationships and friendships started. The girls will be meeting/re-meeting some new and old characters and of course there will be the drama. Oh the drama!

I feel like this story is really where the web comic starts. As I’ve mentioned in a few comments the Winter Special story was originally made as a print special. I decided that rather than spending a bunch of money on printing that it’d be more interesting to release it online and just let everyone enjoy spending some fun time with the girls before digging into the nitty gritty of the main story. I hope you all enjoyed the muffin hunt! It was a lot of fun to draw. Consider it the appetizer to the main course!

So yeah, hope you guys will enjoy this new look into the origins of the Peaches and Cream characters and hopefully I’ll see you back here each Friday! Thanks for stopping in everyone and see you next week with the first page of Rainy Days in Sunny Side Part 1!
